Nasehat Ibn Atha`illah

Salah satu tanda bergantung pada amal yaitu berkurangnya harapan ketika mengalami kegagalan.
Menggebunya semangat tidak akan mampu menerobos benteng takdir.
Tertundanya pemberian setelah engkau mengulang-ulang permintaan, janganlah membuatmu patah harapan.
Allah menjamin pengabulan doa sesuai dengan apa yang Dia pilih buatmu, bukan menurut apa yang engkau pilih sendiri; dan pada waktu yang Dia kehendaki, bukan pada waktu yang engkau ingini.
Sangatlah bodoh orang yang menginginkan terjadinya sesuatu yang tidak dikehendaki Allah pada suatu waktu.

Menunda beramal saleh hanya untuk menunggu kesempatan yang lebih luang termasuk tanda kebodohan diri.

Tiada suatu nafas berhembus darimu melainkan di situ takdir Tuhan berlaku padamu.
Pinta tiada tertahan selama engkau memohon kepada Tuhan.
Namun, pinta tiada mudah bila pada dirimu sendiri engkau berserah.

Di antara tanda keberhasilan pada akhir perjuangan adalah berserah diri kepada Allah sejak permulaan.
Apa yang tersimpan dalam kegaiban hati, akan termanifestasi pada dunia nyata.
Usahamu mengetahui beberapa kekurangan yang tersembunyi dalam dirimu lebih baik daripada usahamu menyingkap perkara gaib yang tersembunyi darimu.

Pangkal segala maksiat, kelalaian, dan syahwat adalah pengumbaran nafsu.
Dan pangkal segala ketaatan, kewaspadaan, dan kebajikan adalah pengekangan nafsu.

Bersahabat dengan orang bodoh yang tidak memperturutkan hawa nafsunya lebih baik bagimu daripada bersahabat dengan orang pintar yang memperturutkan hawa nafsunya.
Kepintaran apa lagi yang disandangkan pada orang pintar yang selalu memperturutkan hawa nafsunya?
Dan kebodohan apalagi yang dapat disandangkan pada orang bodoh yang tidak memperturutkan hawa nafsunya?

Amal yang berasal dari hati penuh keikhlasan tidak dapat dianggap sedikit, dan amal yang berasal dari hati penuh ketamakan tidak dapat dianggap banyak.

Siapa yang tidak mensyukuri nikmat berarti menginginkan hilangnya.
Dan siapa yang mensyukurinya berarti telah mengikatnya dengan kuat.
Bisa jadi Allah memberimu maka menolakmu, dan bisa jadi Dia menolakmu maka memberimu.

Ketika Allah membukakan pintu pengertian bagimu tentang penolakan-Nya, maka penolakan itu pun berubah menjadi pemberian.
Jika engkau menginginkan kemuliaan yang tidak bisa sirna, maka jangan banggakan kemuliaan yang bisa sirna.
Penolakan dari Allah terasa pedih bagimu hanya karena engkau tak mengerti rahmat Allah di balik penolakan itu.

Datangnya pertolongan Allah adalah sesuai dengan persiapan, sedangkan turunnya cahaya Allah adalah sesuai dengan kejernihan relung batin.

Shalat adalah sarana bermunajat serta sumber penyucian. Luas di dalamnya arena rahasia Allah, dan terbit darinya kilau cahaya-Nya.

Allah mengetahui adanya kelemahanmu sehingga Dia menyederhanakan bilangan shalat.
Allah pun mengetahui kebutuhanmu pada anugerah-Nya, sehingga Dia melipatgandakan pahalanya.

Orang-orang memujimu karena apa yang mereka sangka ada pada dirimu.
Maka celalah dirimu karena apa yang engkau ketahui ada pada dirimu.

Apabila engkau berbuat dosa, maka itu jangan menjadi alasan keputusasaanmu dalam menggapai istiqamah dengan Tuhan, karena bisa jadi itu adalah dosa terakhir yang ditakdirkan bagimu.

Romantic Rhapsody, I Guess ...

Hey, I just saw really interesting moment while going home from work..
it's been long time for me to see such moment with my own eyes..
it moves my heart and it's make me smile and cry..
and talk to myself..can I be the ONE?...

well what I saw today brings me to another perspective..about love, life and happiness.
about purpose of life and how could we achieve them.

What I saw today is really Young couples, I figured that the guy in early 20 and the girl around the same but could be younger.
They're about to cross the street with holding each other hand.

what surprised me is that those couples are working as pengamen-street performer, yes it's really an artist...
The guy is holding a gendang in his left shoulder and the left hand is holding the girls hand, leading her way to walk cross the street.
the girl wearing some dancing suit and I know in my hear that she dance with her heart.

The girls wears light make up but I can see that she's really young..
What I saw today is really different from others might.
I would say that this is the most romantic event I ever seen in real life.
HOW?...

well here's the thing, I don't know why after saw them I would say that they are married, just start their whole new life being a street performer.
They're confident with their way, the guy seems like telling girl by the way he holding her hand "Dear, don't worry, I will taking care of you with all my heart, and you have to trust me that I am leading to what we are going, I know it's such hard time for US, but believe me that I would do anything to make you the happiest woman in the world, even that I should give my life doing it" .

And I can feel that girl also saying these replied words to her man "my dear, I know and I trust you to lead me the way, I know we can make it, I know,..I would not worry about today, I know we can make it and I know GOD will show us the way. I am ikhlas to be with you and do this with you"

God... it's almost make me cry you know, I know that they must work hard just to get something to eat. I know they must walk couple kilometers to make a living, I know that they must face all the talk, fuzz and the looks from the people.

I know that they've got nothing today, just a self confidence that they will survive in this harsh world. I know that they are just simple person who try to make a living by a street performer, play the gendang and dance with their heart to make people happy and hope that people would appreciate their work...It's make me crying....and still in my mind till now..

Most people including me are too spoiled with our lifestyle, we can have good meal, have good jobs, can hangout with people, and all the nice thing in this world. but we always complained about everything, just like what we had is not enough..

This nice thing in this world has made us insensitive with our surrounding.
We less care and grateful everyday.

I just hope and pray that GOD will bless those couples I saw today. I hope that they would survive and show them the right way to ride and at the end when they grow old together and the angel of death coming, the guy would say this to the girl, "Dear, I am so sorry that I couldn't made you the happiest woman in the world, I couldn't give you the big houses, jewelry and all the nice thing that woman dream of. I couldn't such thing, all I did was working hard with you just to survive day by day and gave you all those stupid jokes just to make you smile and laugh, This is the time for me to leave this world, and I hope you will pray for me everyday so I will know that I hear your voice in the other side".

And the girl would say "Don't worry Dear, you did all the best just being with me for all those year. you gave me wonderful children, they're healthy and smart, You provided them good education and they will always remember that you are the best father they every had and A good husband for me..They're all gathering here, so you will remember their face for the last time and they will always pray for you.. you've done good jobs. and you always make me smile and laugh with those stupid jokes. we would meet in the other side when my time comes'. The guys said.."dear, you've been a good wife and A good mother, I always love you though all those year I never told you, Good Bye"...

God..please help them.. I am not the romantic's...really..I just realize that I never grateful to god for what I've got today..that I am lucky to have my life... I love You...
